There are different ways to enlarge printed letters depending on what system you are using. For example, if you want to increase letters on a Windows program then firstly you should click on ‘Start’ which will then show the menu. You should follow that by clicking on the Control Panel icon which will open the menu giving you a list of options. Click on the ‘Display’ button to bring up the Display Properties menu. From then you should click on the Appearance tab shown on the Display Properties menu, and after that you should scroll down to the bottom of the menu in which you will have to open the dropdown menu for Font Size. You will see that you have the option to change the font size to Large or Extra Large depending on what suits you best. Once you’ve decided on which font you would like you should click on the apply button shown at the bottom of the Display Properties menu. Once you’ve done that then Windows will adjust the font you have selected. Once applied, click ‘OK’ and it should be complete.

If you’re looking to increase the font size on an Internet Explorer web browser then there’s a different method you need to take. Firstly you should open your web browser and click on ‘file’ which will open up in a dropdown menu. When this appears you will need to drag the cursor to where it says ‘Tools’ and click on ‘Internet Options’ from the dropdown menu. Scroll down to the bottom of the ‘Internet Options’ menu and under ‘History’ click on the Accessibility button. When the menu appears you should check the box that reads ‘Ignore Font Sizes Specified on Web Pages’, and click on ‘OK’. Once you’ve confirmed the changes on the Internet Options menu, the current browser you use will automatically change the font sizes to the size you chose for your Windows program.

Exactly. I put the piece on the scanner or printer and cannot get it to enlarge. What do I do. Since your manual deals 95% in faxes, the simple questions are not answered. Can you please help. I have an X5650.

Thank; you.
