How Do You Set Up The Buddy List For Instant Messaging?
A buddy list is defined as a window which shows all your buddies, which includes your friends, family, co-workers and other contacts. These people are also signed on to Web-based e-mail services such as America Online (which is abbreviated as AOL), CompuServe (which is abbreviated as CS2000) or Instant Messenger.
When your friends are online and when they have signed on to their Instant Messenger, the screen names of your contacts appear in your Buddy List and you can communicate with them instantly by sending them instant messages (which are abbreviated as I'm's).
To add a buddy to your Buddy List, you have to click the List Setup tab, then you have to click the Add Buddy icon and finally you have to type the screen name of your buddy. You might not be able to see your buddies in your Buddy List because the Online tab in the Buddy List window is perhaps not an active tab.
