In most programs that run on windows there is a tool bar or task bar that is on the top, generally coloured blue that has three symbols in the right hand corner. The first symbol is a "_" or "dash" that is used to minimize the screen. Then there is a symbol of either two screens or single screen. If the symbol depicts a single screen it means that the window is currently minimized and can be maximized by clicking on it. If two screens are seen it means that the screen is currently maximized and can be minimized. Then there is an x in the corner that is meant for closing the program. You can also double click on the blue bar on top to alternate between full screen and minimized modes. You can also right click with the mouse to get the same options.
