What you are attempting to do is a violation of the Telecommunications Act of 1996. The only way it can be provided as a printout is to law enforcement agencies, a prosecutors' office or a convened Grand Jury via prescribed written request. Previously mentioned elements would have to contact the service providers legal compliance department for this to take place.

If the phone plan is in your name just go to their website and sign up for an account online. For an example if your at&t go to www.att.com then sign up. But it will only work if you type in your social security birth date and home address where your cell phone bill is sent to. Once you do all that you can check who he text, called, everything. I'm not to sure if you can read what he text. But honestly its not worth it. If there is no trust there is no relationship. I learned that the hard way. If you can't trust him you will never be happy=]

Also you can download an app and install it to his phone, it will run silently and won't 'inform' him. You can check all his text messages online, even his GPS location on Google Maps.

If you guys have the same wireless provider and the phones they supplied you with have sim cards. You can take the the sim card out of his phone and put it in yours. This will allow you to check all his messages from your phone. Don't just ask for the phone. Wait for a moment of opportunity. For example, left the phone in the car or just lying around somewhere.
