If you want to check text messages from another phone to your usual handset, then you need to remove your SIM card and insert it into another phone. If your phone is damaged or broken then this will allow you to still receive new text messages. However you won’t be able to read old text messages unless they were saved on your SIM card.
To remove your SIM card:
1) Switch your handset off.
2) Remove the back of your phone and remove the battery.
3) Carefully remove the SIM card.
Repeat steps 1 & 2 with the phone you wish to check your text messages on and then if necessary replace the existing SIM card in the phone with your SIM card.
Then switch the new handset on, you should now receive your text messages to this phone.
If your phone has been stolen or lost so you don’t have your SIM card, then you need to call the company with whom you have a phone contract and ask them to block the SIM immediately. Then request that they send you a new one out which you can install in a different new handset and continue to receive your text messages.
If you wanted to know if there was a way to check your text messages from another phone without your SIM card then the answer is no. However if the problem is simply that your phone is faulty so you can’t read your texts then yes, all you need to do is put your SIM in another handset.
