The toolbar is the menu which appears at the top and at the bottom of the screen of your personal computer (or PC) when you switch on a program such as one of the programs in the Microsoft Office package or the Internet. The toolbar at the top of the screen consists of menus which you can use while working on the computer. The one at the bottom of the screen consists of the start button and the programs you are currently working on.
A toolbar can be enlarged by pointing the arrow of your mouse pointer on the toolbar and dragging it to the desired larger size. The top toolbar can be enlarged by dragging it downward and the toolbar which is at the bottom of the screen can be enlarged by pushing it upward. However, by enlarging the size of the toolbar, the user automatically minimises the size of the screen.
