I've seen a similar fault very recently. The fault on that TV was with its power supply that feeds the LCD screen driver. The unit knows if it hasn't got an ouput to the driver from the power supply and flashes to indicate the problem. I'd certainly try unplugging and leaving for 10 minutes before trying again. Then see if you can get any menu functions to appear as you trun it on.
