How Do I Defeat Pokemon Trainer Red In Pokemon Heart Gold?

You shld have a team all at level 75+. .

Go on wifi and get pokemon level 100

Well lvl 75 is a good set lvl but try get a higher lvl than most his pokemon

Use a nidoking with earthquake to ko pikachu with one hit

You could trade pokemon from another game that are really strong

You should trade your best pokemon from your pokemon pearl/platinum/diamond to the game your pokemon heart gold, hope I helped

Level your pokemon up a lot probaly 100 but that is quite a big one

I beat red in my first try all you have to do is TRAIN your pokemon okay and you should get an arceus lvl 100 it beat his pikachu in 1 hit and use charizard on his venusuar and gengar against his snorlax and a  raikou against his blastoise and a gyarados or starmy or kingdra against his charizard and a electabuzz against his laprass those are the pokemon I used to beat him

Red starts with a lv 88 pikachu and then his pokemon are lv 84 venasour, lv 84 charizard, lv 84 blastoise, the lv 80 lapras and finallly lv 82 snorlax.
In my opinion I would start with a donphan with eq. 4 venasour typlosion or rk9, for charizard any rock type like golem, then 4 blastoise an ampharos, lapras = fighting like primerape, snorlax =primerape

Just take the time to train...... Beat the elite four until you are in the eighties, cheating and playing on shift is for noobs. Daycare plus bike works quite well, not how I did it though.

You need to put your pokemon into daycare I did and wait two at a time and eventually , they will be lv 100 so wait and trust me you will win

Its soooo hard I am stuck too! But I think the best answer there is about the pokemon daycare! It would also help if you knew your types eg. Water against fire wins ect. Just don't give up!

Get a Gardevoir, level it to 70, use Hypnosis then Dream Eater. I killed his Lapras, Snorlax, Charizard, Venusaur AND Blastoise with this combo. I used a Marowak to kill his Pikachu.

You have to have a typolsion and lugia and ho-oh all level 40-90 hope that helps

Just use cheats and get lv 100 I killed pikachu with charizard using heat wave use charizard again on his blastoise and use fly about 3 times and venasaur flamethrower snorlax heat wave lapras fly 3 times again. Hope I helped
