How Do You Get Celebi In Heart Gold?

Go to route 66 kanto region use poke radar in the grass where the kid with headband is once you do that go in to the wiggling grass patch closest to you and catch. You catch it at level 70 so be careful. If you use ho-oh against celebi it should have at least 6 hp left but make sure you save before you use the poke radar because there is only one celebi in each game so if you kill it without saving you are screwed.
P.s. If you do wireless worldwide trading go on and look for colby because I can give you lugia, ho-oh, darkrai, arceus, regice, registeel, regirock, regigigas, dialga, palkia, garantina, infernape, monferno, chimchar, empoleon, prinplup, piplup, tortera, grotle, turtwig, dragonite, shaymin, ryquiaza, groundon and kyogre.

The easy way on getting celebi is too...you need to get a platinum game or diamond or pearl then trade it on soul silver or heart gold.

After you get all the other legendarys in hgss lugia, ho-oh,mew,mewtwo etc you go to ilex forest and talk to the shrine and theres your celebi waiting for you at lv 50.hope this helps!

Nintendo is going to release an event sometime soon and when you get the celebi from the event and go to ilex forest to talk to the shrine, ethan/lyra and marill appear then celebi does a little dance and you, celebi and ethan/lyra are all transported to the past and the red headed guy is arguing with giovanni. Then you can battle giovanni in a cave and celebi transfers you back to your own time. If anyone wants to add me in their pal pad my friend code is 1591 7982 7365. You can't get it none of those things work ive tryed them unless you cheat by the way I'm waiting for a new movie to come out if you see it at the cinema you get a celebi and if you pre-order tickets you also get a shiny legendarie dog

You can ONLY obtain celebi two ways in heart gold and soul silver
1. Wait for the wi-fi event and receive it through mystery gift.
2. Cheat
they are the ONLY ways GS ball was for earlier versions gold silver and crystal, and the route 66 method is just bull.
I've completed the game I know.

The key to finding celebi I do not know I captured mewtwo,lugia,ho-oh,suicune,kyogre,I got a tree ko from steven and a squirt-le from prof. Oak I got the blue orb from mr. Pokemon and jirachi with draco meteor from a friend I defeated pkm trainer red at mt.silver where articuno is located I have a Honchkrow

Ive tried talking to the shrine, headbutting it, using every TM on it, and nothing happens, I have mewtwo which I caught with a fast/quickball and I got that after I defeated ash, at the top of mount silver, ive got all 16 badges, beaten the pokemon league twice... And still, I can't seem to get celebi or mew...

There is no way to get Celebi! I tried every story on here. It still says " its a tribute to the forests protecter..." I am getting really tired of it! Every one of my Pokemon is a Lv 100 except my shiny Gyarados. It is as lv 98. That proves you can not get Celebi on Heartgold!

You finish your pokedex then a lady in a town that starts with the letter (V) will give you a gs ball (but if you go to her befor pokedex is finished she will give you an apricorn) you take the ball to the ilix forest shrine to get celibi

You must be able to obtain celebi in heartgold! There's a whole freakin' event that takes place in the Ilex forest when you have it! (Just talk to the shrine) It's the only way to challenge Giovanni! It what finnaly explains the plot! Oh yeah, when is this event you guys are talking about?

The only way to get Celebi in Heart Gold is to trade from D/P/Pl or use the E-Reader to transfer Celebi to Heart Gold without trading. Otherwise use AR

It gives you a LV 10 shiny Celebi, But I must warn you it appears in box 1, slot 1 in your computer so remove the Pokemon there or put a Low level Pokemon there for it to replace like I did.

It really does work just MAKE SURE you put it in EXACT! KK?

The ONLY way to get Celebi or Mew in ANY of the DS Pokemon games is through nintendo events.   Currently, the only Celebi released is a Japanese one (it will not activate the special celebi event in HG/SS)and there is yet to be one for Mew (except the GBA one). Anyone who says beat the game and do something like release all your legendaries or talk to the shrine is lying to you and cheats mess up your game even if you put the codes in correctly. REAL and legit event pokemon are worth much more than any cheat or hack.

To put you all out of your misery you will have to wait untill the 27/7/10 for the event up on Londons south bank (May be postponed Due to world cup, cum on england!). A remake of the Gs ball will be availiable and will be just like Gld/Slvr/Crysl/ way of getting it. All of the methods above are lies of people trying to F*@$ up your game because they can't even do the first Gym. ;P
