How Do I Change My Text Tone On My Samsung Solstice?

GO to Menu, Push the settings Icon. On the sound profile click where it says normal, click on the letters, not the blue dot, that takes you to a different menu where you can change the message tone
I FIND OUT HOW JUST GO TO MENU, PUSH THE SETTING ICON. PUSH THE SOUND PROFILE, PUSH ON NORMAL AND IF you SEE A BLUE DOT WHERE THE NORMAL IS CLICK IT AGAIN THEN AT THE STOP you CAN CLICK THE ARROW AND CLICK ON MESSAGES

Go to menu, settings, sound profile, normal, and at the top right hand corner it says "call" if you press that it's a drop down menu, just hit text and you can edit everything for text messages :)

After clicking the Normal option, you will see next to the title (Normal) a drop down list. Click "Mesage" and you will then be taken to the screen to make changes to the messaging sound features. You won't be able to the tone to anything other than one of the 6 options listed.

You can change it to your recorded sound. Go into message alert tone, where they list the 6 basic tones on the bottom right there is a Tone button  then click it. Now look for the arrow button next to where is says audio and go you should see the options recorded, music, tones.

In settings go to sound profiles and click on the WORD normal and at the top right corner there will be a scroll thats reads "phone" click it and click message...hope I helped

Yeah, I have one and I can't figure it out either...

I clicked on the blue dot but it just says that it is changed to normal I want to change the text message tone
