Tinder might have your location wrong or think you are somewhere else for a number of reasons. Here's a few:
- Maybe Tinder hasn't updated location settings
- You might have disabled location settings on your phone all together
- Connecting to a Wifi network that is routed through a different ip address could through Tinder off
- If you are connecting to a VPN (virtual private network), then this may confused Tinder as to where you are
- Tinder uses Facebook data to create a profile of you. Is your Facebook location data up to date? That could be a factor...
- You could be using an old version of Tinder which has a bug. In this case, you can solve the problem by updating your version of the app (downloading the new version of Tinder won't mean you'll lose your current Tinder contacts
