How Can I Load All My DVD Movies Onto My Computer Hard Drive And Store There In Movie File To Use In Home Entertainment Network?

I  have windows 7 and new touch smart 300 I am having the hardest time can anyone help? I am trying to load the movies into my computer to put them on I touch for plane ride for kids

If you live in the US, legally you can't.  You are violating the DMCA. (Digital Millenium Copyright Act)  All commercial DVD's have copy protection and cannot easily be copied.  It can be done for *most* DVD's, but it is a long, drawn out process.  You can look at www.ripit4me.org to give you some resources to get you started.  If you have a lot of DVD's, you can spends weeks or longer getting them into a file format you can view on your Entertainment network.  Just one of the reasons I dislike the MPAA (And RIAA)  But that is another issue ...
