If you have two computers and want to connect to each other than you need a Cable called CAT 5 and then RJ 45 Connectors and then make a Cross Cable to connect both computer.

Method of Cross Cable. 1236 == 3612

After making Cross Cable try to enter the IP Address and Gateway.  Follow the below Instructions.

E.G. PC-1 IP Address
IP Address 10.0.0.1
Subnet Mask   255.0.0.0
Gate Way 10.0.0.2

PC- 2 IP Address
IP Address 10.0.0.2
Subnet Mask    255.0.0.0
Gateway 10.0.0.1

For Same Device Cross Cable and for Different Device Straight Cable.

Assign Ip address on each computer according to subnet and network.
