I am trying to play a dvd music video and it comes up saying I don't have a dvd decoder that is compatible with my windows media player and I have Windows Vista, what do I do?? PLEASE HELP!!!

I tried K lite Vlc and the best 1 I found was Cliprex DS DVD player it was free and played really smooth I had been told by a knowledgeable person that it was my card thingy that was needing changed but it payed to shop around and try different ones.
