To get minutes that arent added on go to prepaid menu and add airtime. Then type 555 and say no to promo code. Wait a few minutes and it should put em on. If it says service unavailable you got to call 1-800-safelink to find out the problem. But usually the minutes are added automatically at the beginning of the month although you can use that 555 code only as early as the 29th of the month before

I have tried to download ringtones for mine from thier site. However after inputting the serial number and phone number, I was taken to a screen reading "there is a problem authorizing your account" so I have no idea what there is for my lg600
To further irritate , when calling them you are waltzed around like a cheap date and never given a straight answer. I had spent over 40 hours on the phone with no answers often spending time speaking to morons who just kept apologizing like a parrot reading from some script who then transfer you to a supervisor in some other department where I then had to wait 45minutes and never spoke to them. They lied claiming they're having unexpected call volumes but that just doesnt fly when it happens any time or day of the week consistantly.
Finally, the last moron told me that because it is a government program you are unable to download anything off the tracfone site since the serial number indicates a safelink phone number. DUH! They should clearly state this on their site or in the information provided with the phone

How can I get ring tones for my safe link wireless phone and I have had my phone sense the 16 of this month and I still have not got my minute's
I have not aan answer but a question. If you can not download ringtones to the safelink phone then how do you use the "MY TONES" to make music? The only thing I get is what sounds like a cat running across a wall of woks wile a mouse give birth to her young ove a meet grinder. Do you have to know how to read sheet music to play a $10 phone. If anyone knows how to play any songs on this safelink phone could you just post a video on youtube or something so the rest of us " songs have the phone" can use this songs.. Thank you

I signed up for safelink phone service and I was surprised to find no ring tones on the phone and as I read through the booklet I found you can download from tracphone. After I did all the steps I found the company did not support the phone I had been given. The more I searched the crazier I felt and this is what I found. I was sent a Motorola W175g
1. With phone on press center circle you will come to your menu.
2. Go to the icon with the bell, this is you ring style menu
3. Choice (loud ring) have not seen if it work for soft but I don't see why not. Then Exit
4. Go to Loud Ring Details chose ( Call In) scroll through the list to find which ringtone you want click to save then exit! Hope this heps. :)
