This really depends on which version of the Samsung Gravity phone you have. As some have this features whereas the older version does not.
To check if your phone does come with the signature feature you need to head to the text messages section on your phone. Once there, click on the settings option and then scroll down. If you see an option called text signature or add signature then your phone does have this feature. Click on this option then type in the signature you wish to have featured on the bottom of all your future text messages sent from your Samsung Galaxy phone.
If you do not see this option then unfortunately your phone does not have this feature. You can though manual sign each text in the same way so people may not even notice the difference from the pre-set one to your own manually inputted one.
Another option if you do not have the signature feature is to go to the text messaging folder then click on templates and into text templates and click create. Then add whatever you wish your signature to be. Then head back to messaging and create message then you can head to the other text template and pick your signature you set before and send the text.
It doesn't have that feature, but instead, you could create a template for it and add it in every time you send a message. It sucks, but, hey, it's better than nothing.
I also have the gravity phone... I just go 2 messaging> templates> text templates> create> then just put whatever you want 2 be your signature. Then go 2 messaging> create message> message> then put whatever you want 2 send, then go 2 other> text template> and pick your signature you set before, than you just send it..... Its better than no signature at all and it only takes about 2 more seconds!(: I hope I helped you guys!!!
I have the Samsung Gravity. Yes I agree, it does suck but great for texting. Warning don't ever get it wet, well because if you do.....lets just say you better have wer-nt on your phone. I got it wet just a little and it starting bugging out, buttons wer-nt working, and it kept shutting off. Well now I have only had it sence maybe in like March-April. So I havent really had it for long, so as I go on, everytime I'm done using the keyboard I shut it, and the phone shuts off. Sometimes when the phone shuts off it will turn its self back on but not all the time. It really has a lot of problems. It shuts off, freezes, goes blank, bad service, and doesnt have a signature(lol). Thats not really one of the worst prob-lmes but its apart of the question. I finally got to the answer, it is offical, it does NOT have a signature. And I'm also one of those people that go on Templates, make one, and everytime I'm done with the text message I add it. It is a real pain and you will get sick of doing it, but thats the answer to your question!!!
I'm going to get a gravity and I already ordered it. I might get it by this coming monday. I'm super excited! I thought there was signature feature on it. That's kinda disappointing but it's better then nothing. I love texting and I think it's a good phone for me. I have the blackberry curve right now, until I get my samsung gravity. The blackberry is good too, but I'm thirteen and I think it's meant for like office workers...well I'm very excited to get my samsung gravity aqua&blue phone slider. !!!
I have the gravity and its a REALLY awesome phone. I tricked it out and I got a signature on it :]!!!! If you guys didnt figure out how to do it then go on the computer and write how to set a signature on your gravity tricked out!!!!!! It works my signature says
I have a Samsung Gravity phone and its getting on my nerves. Like I can't put a signature on it? Seriously? That sucks. Every t-mobile phone ive had, you can't put a signature on it. It sucks. And like if you turn your bluetooth on it killes your battery like that! I'm not kidding. But its better than nothing.
I have this phone & I like it I hate how it wont like me have a sig. Its soo annoying. But its a pretty good phone. But one thing I hate is that they never have a case for it :( I found 1 & that is the only one I have
The way I put a sig on is that I go to text templates and I change the first one and then you save it. Then wen you r texting after your don't with your text don't send it just then. Click the options button and there shud be ad option that says 'insert from...>' and click on it thenn click text templates then the first one is your sig so yeah thats it. Its easier than it sounds. Its way more better than just typing it everytime:) hope this helped/
Okay first of all to me teh samsunng gravity kinda of sucks. I paid 250 for it its always frezzing and never no servious like,come on work. So I think I'm just going to buy a iphone 3 g its colst way less and its not going to freeze and for people with the samsung gravity please take this in mind you I seen nicer phones evean ugly phones who have it !
Well I got my samsung gravity on the feb 11 2010 I I was so exited but dissapoinet I couldnt put a signature but my the phone I great ull get addicted to texting when you get da phone probably and when you going to take de picture you got to take the picture sidways for it to come straight I hate that. You can add a little melody when you open da keyboard and close ITZ REALLY COOOL THO I GOT IT FOR LIKE 120$ I dink close too that if not maybe even less but I luvv the phone reallyyy luvv it
Well I have a gravity 2 and you can't put a signature on it!!! It sucks because I have to type it every single time!!! I mean thats the only bad thing about my phone....well hope that helped you :)
I don't have a Samsung but its pretty generic for all phones. You go to settings/tools, then to messaging, and there should be a category called signature. Its self explanitory from then on. Hope this helps!
