Can you not just plug the USB cable in and access the phone's memory?

If not - you can try removing the SD card (micro SD?) and plugging it into a card reader (you will need an adapter).

Finally - what about bluetooth - if you have a bluetooth dongle on your computer - you can send files to and from the phone.
