My PSP Won't Read The Game Disk. What Do I Do?

Check in your umd slot if there is no little white trigger it's broken

Well, either there is something wrong with the game or the PSP is messing up. If I were you, I would take the game back in exchange for a new game, but get the same game. I would try it in the PSP. If it doesn't work then there is something wrong with the PSP. If the PSP still has a warranty, then you can contact the manufacturers and they could see what the problem is. If you don't want to do that and if you Just bought the PSP then exchange it for a new one. But if you have had it for awhile now, I don't think you could get a new PSP. Try clipping the umd disc on titer  and it will work

I can put any game in it will just say disc can not be read.what do I do, and I got my psp when they barley came out. :(

I would try taking a Q-Tip and dipping it in rubbing alcohol and clean the eye. It worked for mine. Game stop told me to do that.

GTA will start to play and then after a while every thing will get all blurry and the street will turn into water and then on the screen it says sorry the psp can not read the disk what do.  Is the the disk or the PSP???!??!!!!?

My psp had the same problem so I googled it and its told me  inside the umd slot the lazer arm may be out of place so I stuck my finger in and slid it across it work,but it said it my be a risk if you have the 1st version of the psp

My does this what I do is I have to hold it strait up while I'm laying down Let the game load it will make a loude noise if I don't have it at the right angel when it loads fully I have to quickly place flat before the disk quits on me then I can play but I can't move the psp I think Sony should start giving answers I'm givivng away my psp I don't use it an I found this problem

Ok I'm mike my number is 7653189152 what I did is I took my air compressor and blew the air in to my psp the flap open that you put disk in . Then I put the disk it and it started working now I'm not sure but you may have to do it again . Ill let you know if you want . But try the air compressor first .

Naw man.. Before you do anythin else check if your disc has a lil crack if it does juz open da disc from da SIDES until you got da cd den try pushing out da inside crack out a bit den put da disc frm da  bck da way you saw it den tape the sidez nd it shld b workin fine :)

I downloaded a game on my memory stick and it looks like it is going to load but then it just says there is a problem

Mine does the same thing it make a screech noise twice and then loads for five minute and then it wont work
