Hardware is important as your processor and amount of memory directly relates to how quickly your computer reacts to a command.

The software aspect of your question could be related to the browser you use, but don't take my word on that part

Internet hardware includes modem. A modem is a device that is essential to connect oneself to internet. But one needs to have a different modem for a DSL, cable or dial up connection. Hardware routers are also a way that can be used to share internet connection in a network. Many routers are found in the market which helps to connect a number of computers to internet at the same time. Wi Fi cards are also used as internet hardware.

There are a number of software’s for internet like we use internet explorer to get connected to internet. Software’s like ZoneAlarm which help you from unprotected sites and junkies.

Different Internet connections involves different hardware components. It depends on which Internet connection do you want to install. Dialup needs >> computer, modem, telephone exchange, telephone line, isp. DSL connection requires computer, Connection wire, DSL provider, ADSL Modem/router
 
software components are usually browser like Internet explorer and FireFox.

Hardware is a component to structure a computer. It may be any electronic  device like hard disk , monitor etc..

Software is a code developed by different programming languages like , C, C++. VB etc...

Hardware is any physical electronics of a system. Ex. Mother boards,ram & hard drives.
software is the computer programs that run on the system like microsoft windows or microsoft word.
hardware makes a computer but software makes it useable.
