How Could I Find My Ipod Touch Its Been Lost For About A Week Now But Know For A Fact Its In My House Somewhere?

Well I understand how you feel exactly but it happens sometimes that what you lost might jump out after some time to be a gift for surprise accidentally when you're looking for some other things. So don't worry!

I know how everyone in the post feels. I lost my iPod Touch about a month or  two ago. The last time I lost it I searched EVERYWHERE but then my mom told me to pray to god and the finding fairy and they could help me find it. So I did what she said and after a week or so of praying I found it under my bed. Just laying there. Hope this helps!!! BTW before praying I did search under my bed and it wasn't there.

I lost my ipod touch 5 days ago and was 100% positive sure it was in my apartment. I searched everywhere I could think about but got nothing. I also read this page and realized the only way is to keep looking for it more carefully.

Yesterday. I tried hard again to recall what did I do before I lose it. I suddenly recalled that I tried my new bought sleeping bag with my ipod touch in my pocket. I opened the suitcase which I put the sleeping bag in and unfolded my ***sleeping bag****. I couldn't feel anything when I touched the outside of the sleeping bag. However, when I put the sleeping bag upside down and shake it, my ipod touch rolled out in front of my eyes! What a surprise!!!

So, Try harder! You'll make it!

Search your house up and down look places you wouldnt expect it to be cause that is the most likely place it could be you might just not remember where in your house you put it, and look in all pants coats and yes your shoes thoroughly and same with looking under objects you could have put a sweater over it, anyway good luck =)

What I do to prevent this from happening is put an alarm on my phone at a time that I know I'll be home. For instance mine is 5 pm on Thursdays so if I loose it I just have to wait til Thursday and at 5 search every room til I here it. This usually works but you have to make sure your ipod volume is always up. Hope this works for you!

Get mobileme and then you can see where your ipod is on a map and you can have it display a message and have it beep for 2 minutes. Also you can lock it, with the passcode you have set for it, or wipe it so no one could gain access to your information. I love it, ive used it to find my ipod touch for years.

My kids have hidden my wife's iPod twice for several days each time. I want to try this next time:
Get a WiFi detector like the kind that can be put on a keyring. (They sell them at Best Buy.) Cut off all the WiFi and Bluetooth devices in the house and turn on the the detector. When the iPod wakes up to poll for updates (such as with the Facebook app) it will transmit briefly which should cause the detector to light up. I don't know what the polling interval is for most apps, but the Facebook one seems to check every few minutes. I would also think that the closer you are to the iPod, the brighter or more frequent the blinking should be.

I just lost mine too and I know its either in my house or my best friends house, so I would say look in all the places you wouldnt expect to c it or take a day to turn your house upside down and look for it, hope I helped

I lost mine just today but remember using it in the house and I even remember where I used it, but I don't known if I put it in my pocket, on the table, or etc. I am searching frantically and am sure I will find it with in a week.

If you have the upgraded iPod with the camera and Facetime get a friend that you have face-timed with before you lost it and use their iPod to find yours. You will hear it ringing and even better when you get to close to the iPod it will make screeching noises.

I feel your pain I lost my ipod a few days ago
I left it on the computer and then the next thing I new it was gone!
I tore the room upside down and still no sign =(
but then I found it in the most unusual place ever.....THE PRINTER.....yes the printer which is under the computer
it just shows that you HAVE to look EVERYWHERE =)

I lost my for about 5 days and I looked everywhere for it but I can't find it couches,beds every room in the house but the last place I had it, it was in my house...I need answers...fast....  ;-(

Can't find mine love my I pod touch 8 gig its in my house about 80% but don't noe y last time  I saw my I pod was wen my relatives were sleeping over my house don't noe where it is wen they left!! I'm so worried =(
