Very easy! Get a PROGRAMMABLE remote and using the exiting remote program it to work with the comcast system,get a remote that has cable boxes and is a learning remote!
I have a Harmony remote that you program both remotes into it and it gets it's info from the WWW. But they are not cheap! I was lucky got a reburbed one for $52.00 vs $120 (grin)Still not cheap thou! But then program remotes cost $30 on up.
