How Do I Program My Comcast Cable Box Remote To My Insignia Tv?

You need a code to connect the Comcast remote to the TV. The code could be 0463 or perhaps 10463. Other codes can be found on the Insignia website. If you search for your TV, then search the support section, it should have different remote models and their codes included. Once you have the code you need to enter it into the TV.

To do this your TV will need to be turned on. Then, with the Comcast remote, you need to press the TV button. Next you need to hold down the set up button. The button should flash twice. Then enter the code (0463 or 10463). The TV button should flash twice again. To check if it has worked, press the power button. If it turns off then the code was correct.

There are some remotes that may not necessarily work with the TV although there is an extensive amount that do. The Insignia website is a good place to go to if you are having further trouble. The support guides that are on the website are very useful. Also the FAQ section is linked with the forum so more information can be found there.

If you cannot find the correct information or the codes are still not working you can try calling the manufacturer of the remote and they may be able to supply you with the correct code. If not then it could be worthwhile to call Insignia to check the compatibility between the model of TV and the Comcast equipment.
