Both WAN and MAN are same in nature but there is a little variation in internet speed of both networks. As MAN is only for Metropolitan cities, so it is obviously a high speed network to cover the requirements by high tech and professionals. While WAN is a general wireless LAN in the whole country. So it has a normal speed as a fiber or cable network provides. Data transmission errors and noise are least in LAN, moderate in MAN and high in WAN.
