do the SD cards work anymore in the sd to usb 2,0 adapter things? I know my sd card works great by putting it into my printer's slot. But I want the adapter too.

I don't see why you would have a problem. I have used the usb 2.0 adapter for my phone's SD card on several occasions with no problems.
