The Blackberry brand of cell phones and tablet devices is hugely popular. The phones are easy and clear to use, although the design of Blackberry cell phones was pioneering and ground breaking when the phones were first released, so it may take some time to get used to your Blackberry, as you may not have used anything like a Blackberry before. On a Blackberry cell phone, text messages you have sent and receive are stored on the phone's internal memory. As a default setting, the messages are not stored on the phone's SIM card. It is possible to buy memory cards and SD cards which can be used to store messages, and also to back up your messages to your computer.

In order to access your text messages on your Blackberry device, you should look for the "messages" icon. This icon looks like a cell phone with a speech bubble coming out of it. It may be on your home screen, but if you do not see this icon on your home screen, press the menu button on your keypad in order to access the full Blackberry menu - you should see the icon there. If you are unsure whether or not you have identified the messages icon correctly, hover over it using your cursor. If you have identified the correct icon, the word "messages" should appear on your screen.

Once you have clicked on the messages icon, you will be taken to a list of all the messages you have sent and received. The messages are helpfully sorted by contact - you can view all of your sent and received messages, in chronological order, meaning that from top to bottom, the messages to and from one of your contacts read like a conversation. In order to access a conversation between yourself and one of your contacts, click on the messages icon and then look within the messages folder for the name of the contact you desire. When you find it, click on their name, and you will have accessed your conversation with that contact.
