The world didn't have computers until very recently and it did fine. It would go through a period of havoc if all computers failed at this point, but it would eventually work itself out and we would go back to paper, books, talking, etc... The world would be fine. It's people who develop dependencies on things, like computers. I personally would like it. I would probably spend more time with my friends and family, probably see more people because I would have to go places to get things done. It would be a more personal world for me, a more connected place to live.
The world would once again have healthy, intelligent from studying people. We would see generations learn school subjects a different way that would require them to use their minds, and people will once again learn all about the typewriters. We will again write letters to our far away family and friends, and increase traffic on our streets. Bills will be paid in person or mailed out, you would speak with a worker when ordering pizza. You would only wonder how many off the wall chatters there are out there and feel secure in knowing anyone with a computer could actually know you life history with just a name, or city and state, and even view a picture of your home. Enough....already.....lol
Can you imagine a world without a computer? Your life will be so bored, you cannot do manything. Just sit tight at home watching tv's,
Today wherever we go, we get computers by our side to help us. There's no doubt that computers are not meant only for good purposes, but if we differentiate the pros and cons of computers, we come to find it as the most valuable technology on earth today. So if no computers, NO LIFE.
For various types of person, computer means everything, from doing your work until your lifestyle can effect from a computer.
It would bring back tons of jobs that we're phased out over the years by the use of automated tracking(no actual person to find a package lost in transit instead of telling you it's on a plane or truck somewhere but they have no clue where it's at even with the tracking)/robotic welders(production jobs to make the auto workers actually earn their newly awarded pay increase after striking)/self check out(a actual person cashier to fix or check prices)/red light cameras(actual police on the streets to give a ticket instead of being surprised by a 140 dollar ticket your girlfriend got while borrowing the car)/automated conveyor belts(no one actually working for the billions of profit ups, usps, fed ex so on are receiving)you might actually have to wait for your new toy, clothes, sports equipment/digital cameras(no more film developing for the most part)...we might even have to have some jobs for the people that can't find a job right now....and maybe the credit card sharks would go out of business making people actually have to pay cash for their purchases instead of buying on credit getting deeper in debt....
Without computer, you'll see more people walking on the street, more cars driving around, and you wont be lonely when walking on the street by yourselves. Everyone will be healthy =]
Most things in out lives (at the very least the life of a US citizen) is based around computers. If we lost computers (faster then we could replace them with a new system), the US would fail. Period.
back then there was no such thing as a computer. By the eighties there was a computer but no internet. It seems now days everyone uses a computer. Whether for working or for fun. Back before computers people had to use a dictionary , or did actual reading. Luckily we have computers now. To where people did not have them back them but they learn to manage.
