The SanDisk Cruzer 2.0 (as it's name implies) should be a USB 2.0 device, which means it is compatible with both USB 1.1 and 2.0 architecture, so all you should need to do is plug it into an available USB port on your computer, and it should automatically detect it. If you are running an old version of windows, you may need to find drivers to utilize the mass storage device function of such drives.
If you are using XP or Vista, however, you should have no problems. If your computer is too old to have a built-in USB port, you will need to purchase an addon card with USB ports on it to install into your compter before you will be able to use it or any other USB device.
Once your system recoginzes the drive, you will be able to open it just like any drive on your system (My Computer -> double-click the drive letter of the drive) and use it like it is an installed drive in your system, but once you are done copying or moving files onto it, you can remove it from your computer and take it (and the files on it) with you...
Hope this helps, and you have a great day!
