How do i flash my nokia 5130 phone?

There are a couple of methods you can use to flash (or hard reset) a Nokia 5130 phone.  I'll try to outline the steps as clearly as possible below.

1. You need to press the following sequence of buttons to start the hard reset: * + 3 + Call + Power.
2. You'll then be asked for a password.  Unless you've previously changed the password, the default input should be 12345.

Second option to flash a Nokia 5130

1. The second option can be done in standby mode.  From there, you need to type the following sequence of buttons: * # 7 3 7 0 #
2. One again, at this point you'll be asked for a password, and the default input should be 12345.

As you can see, it's pretty easy to flash a Nokia 5130, but there is something you should be aware of before you go ahead and do this.  Once a phone is hard reset, all data stored on the device is erased.  There is no way to get this back, so it's best to backup any files that you need before you enter the flash code.
