If you'd like to know how to run software made for MS-DOS operating systems on later versions of Windows - then you may be in for a disappointment.
Since the launch of Windows XP, later versions of the OS have not been built on top of DOS, and so software built to run on "real" DOS will not work.
That said, there are some workarounds.
Your best bet is to build a Virtual Machine (VM) within your current operating system. A VM is an emulation (copy) of a particular computer system, and allows "guest" operating systems to run.
If you installDOSBox, this is a DOS VM and should run your DOS programs. There is no guarantee that they will all work perfectly, but you should be fine for most.
