Plug it in to your itunes account

Holding the home button while connected and turning it on and of worked for me it resets it

If you hook up your ipod to iTunes and then click on the ipod icon and click restore. Warning!: If you do this it will erase all progress on the ipod. You will have to sync it to get your apps and music back. Or you can click backup  and this is true from my experience

Plug your ipod into the computer.
Then go on itunes.
Look in the right corner to see if your logged in.
If you are logged in log out
Click sign in and then click "Create new account," at the top of the box
Go through all the steps to creating it
You can use this account on any of your and anyone ipod or iphone
Then when you go on itunes sign in
but if you want your original account then tell me and ill tell you how to get it bk

Ok well then go 2 the itunes app and click forgot passwword or whatever and then check your email because 2 sighn up for itunes you have 2 go 2 app store because I have a iphone 4 and I know this stuff. You have 2 put an email 2 sighn up for itunes for app store!!! Then if you can't do it from then you probably stole the non expensive thing!!!

SO if you have a backup for your ipod, it basically has all your apps etc going back into your ipod after your restore it?
