I don't know if you live in the US, but if you go to Wal-Mart and buy a GE universal remote 24914 for $4.97 (silver w/ some black buttons), it will work for this t.v. The code is 2565, I think. But the code for this tv/vcr is right on the list in the instruction manual for the remote. You just have to try them. I was very excited when it worked,because I thought I would have to buy a special remote.
