What Do You Need To Catch Ditto In Platinum?

Well. Ditto randomly appears in the trophy garden, you can do what I did, talk to the old guy, he will tell you a certain pokemon appears in the garden, if it isn't ditto, restart and talk to him again, the pokemon might change.

Go to route 218 and use a repel then keep using the poke radar (You need to get the national dex first) then keep doing it till you find a ditto.

I think you go to route 218 and use the pokeradar. Go in the patch of grass that shines. There is a 22% chance on route 218, but only a 5% chance in the trophy garden.

Route 218 doesn't work in platinum. Just in Diamond and Pearl, don't waste your time trying that. The only way to catch it is in the trophy garden after talking to Mr. Backlot and he tells you that he saw one THAT DAY.

You have to go to the trophy garden but there's only a 5% chance of getting it or just trade 1 from peral or dimond

I checked route 218 like a bazilligon times with pokeradar and the national dex

I jut got the action replay and got master pokeballs from it but if you do not have one I'd prefer to get it to 5 hp and use an ultra ball.
