  • The LG IP 340N
This could refer to the battery for the LG 340N or the actual phone of the same name. As such, the details below apply to the LG 340N cell phone rather than the battery.

  • The Default Codes
The default codes for this model are 12345 or 00000. However, you can also use Default 4 digit user code of 1234 or 0000. If you type *#06# on the cell's screen it will display your IMEI. This can be used to correct the problem.

  • The General Codes
The following general codes will help you unlock and verify the phone. Do not put in the inverted commas ('') as they are only there for emphasis.

For all LG models test mode:  Type '2945#*#' on the main screen.
The 'Secret Menu' for LG Phones: '2945*#01*#'
MEI (ALL): *#06#

The code to ascertain the phone version requires the SIM card to be removed, then type '277634#*#' or '47328545454#'

To select the software version again requires the phone to have no SIM card in it and then select 'SW Ver.info'

To reset the phone entirely, remove the SIM card and use the following code:  '277634#*#' or '47328545454#'

For a factory reset, you need the code to be able to enter the unlock menu. For this, you need to ensure that the SIM card is in the phone. By selecting 'Factory Reset,' the phone will be a blank slate for you.

To enter the UNLOCK MENU, you need the phone to have the SIM card inside it, then type: Enter '2945#*88110#'

As with all technical devices and advice pertaining to them, following the above advice is done at your own risk. For professional advice and support, take your phone to a technician who is recognized by LG and accredited.
