It just means you can not take any more pictures with the camera if you do not have a memory card inserted. To correct this problem just by a memory card of our chose and insert it and you can take more pictures with your camera. Your pictures you toke when you did not have a memory card inserted my not show up. That is ok because when ever you take the memory card out the pictures you took when you did not have a memory card in will show up. Hope this helps
