Give it a sooth bell to double it's happiness, level it up, give it haircuts in Goldenrod underground and massage it in Pallet town. This should make it like you. Talk to the girl in a small house which is in the east side of Goldenrod to see if you are close to evolving it. If she says some thing like it trusts or loves you it means you are very close. Then level it up AT NIGHT!!! If you do it in the day it will turn into an Espeon. Hope I helped!
First of all, you need to get Eevee from Bill's house at Goldenrod City. After that, give it an EXP. Share and start battling trainers. Now, to evolve Eevee into Umbreon/Espeon, its happiness is supposed to be at its max. To check a pokemon's happiness, I just go to the house in Goldenrod City, where there is lady which when talked to, will tell you how "happy" your pokemon is. Check in serebii.com for the statements she says and the level of happiness they're supposed to mean. Getting a haircut will also work, you can get a haircut down in the tunnel of Goldenrod City. Make sure though, that you level Eevee at night, meaning for 8:00 PM to about 2:00 AM. If you really want Umbreon as quickly as possible, then you should get to the options of your DS System, and adjust the time, make it 8:00 PM, and the game time will alter and become 8:00 PM too.
It's a combination- battle with it a lot, hair cuts, soothe bell, level it up, use calcium and protein and items such as that, and eventually it will level up at night and evolve into umbreon. I don't think the dusk stone works I tried and it did nothing.
You have to make it happy. There is no set level at which it evolves. Give it the soothe bell, get its hair cut, ect. Also giving it berrys and things like calcium, iron, carbos, ect. Will make it happy. You have to train the happy pokemon at night time, and it will eventually evolve.
You get eevee from bills house (goldenrod city after azalea town) then you have to battle at night between 8pm and 2am for best results well hope this helped:):):):):):):):)
I think you give it a soothing bell, give it hair cuts. Then battle a wild dude then level up then it may turn into espeon (day) press b and wait foe night then level up then you got UMBREON (my favorite eevee) :)
I think it is the same as the other games you fight with eevee after you get the national Dex during the day and he will become friendly or you can give him berry's that make him more friendly when he is at lv 5 or whatever you get eevee at and then fight with it.
