Thats not the write way to do. What you can do is:
1. Go to menu bar and select insert
2. From there go to "add picture" or add clip art.
3. Give the path of your required picture or select the clip art.
4. Picture is inserted on the slide you can change the size of the picture as well.
5. And then enjoy the picture either by setting it as a back-ground or as a front image.
