Well it really depends on which OS version you are using. If its Windows XP then its very easy for you. You must have your Windows XP CD. Put your bootable XP CD in the system and start your computer. The CD will boot your system. Once you are in, the screen will show that the setup is inspecting the system and is loading files. The screen will prompt Welcome to Setup, upon which you must press enter to setup windows. After that you will get the licensing agreement, press F8 to accept it. Then next screen would give you the option to repair. Select the XP installation and press R to begin the repair process. The Repair will run and the Setup will check the disks and copy files. After this stage you will require to reboot your system. Normally it is done automatically by the system. Do not press any key to make the booting from the CD again as the process will start over again. Just keep your eyes on the lower left side of the screen and see the process of installation. Press Shift +F10 which will give you access to the security hole and give you access to your system. At the prompt, type the following command and press enter NUSRMGR.CPL . Now you can get access to the user accounts in the control panel, choose the account that you need to change and remove or change the administrator password. After changes are made, close the windows, exit command box and continue with the repair. After the repair is complete you can log on the system with your new password.
