Here  is what you do.
1. Monitor all the times you go on your Gmail account.(make a chart or something of the times and dates you go on.)
2. After you have at least 6 times, wait at least a week and don't go on @ all.
3. Check your Sent box after a week.
4.Compare the dates and times from the Sent box and your chart.

If some times are different- do not use that gmail account again. Shoot a quick email to everyone in your contacts saying I have a new email, here it is, and explain WHY because if this person sent rude comments to other people- they might take it personally. After,  write down all your contacts(this is the worse part because Gmail wont let you import your contacts from another gmail account) on a piece of paper you should write them down or on a word doc. After, CREATE A  NEW GMAIL ACCOUNT!!!! Then go back on your old account and delete the email that says Your New Email Account Information(I have created another gmail before) so the person cannot track your new email. Delete that email forever! And you have a cool new email and you wont have that problem again! Hope this helps!
