How Do You Catch A Wild Charmander On Pokemon Platinum?

There`s one on rt 229 at night but its hard 2 catch

Rt 229 just caught one took an hour but it was worth it I
got charmander and a shiny Roselia in the process

Just go to rout 229

You catch it by the resort area you have 5% chance of cacthing
it

You can get charmander in route 229 where the tall grass is. Yes, it takes along time and I'm looking 4 it right now on platinum

You can find CHARMANDER with trade with you friend
or you can migrate from fire red or leaf green by put you leaf green GBA game on your NDS slot 2(beside the volume) an when you open your pokemon platinum you can find a word (Migrate from Leaf Green/Fire Red)

You can find one in the fight area

Fly to the restore area and go to route 229, and keep on finding wild pokemon. So it takes a very long time. When you do that charmander shold appear. Fight it and catchit

Find a ditto then catch it.  The game will ask do check its body. Say yes and there you go

The only way to get a charmander is having red fire or leaf green and open the pal park, if you have these two things you can transfer any leaf green, fire red, sapphire, ruby and emerald versions. You need a nintendo ds lite to do this.
