Get an abombasnow higher then 60 and learn it sheer cold then use pp up on it till its high then use sheer cold because its 1 hit ko but for the fire use a different pokemon like a high level Gyarados and use water but for the champion use a really strong dragon type like dragonite, garchomp or raise your giratina.
Well you have to have a Infernape with Close Combat my friend told me, also you can get Garchomp on your PokeDex when you battle Cynthia if you haven't already got it.
Another good pokemon to beat the first one of the elite four is Infernape, but get the TM fireblast from the big store in Veilstone city because fire spin really isn't good; trust me. Stick to grass type pokemon for the 2nd one, you can use a roserade if you want, thats what I did. Fire I would go with an Empoleon but if you don't have 1 then try floatzel but he has to be a really high level to do it, or try a ground type that knows earthquake, really effective. For the last one I just used my Giratina and kept using dragon moves. But as always use high levels so your prepared for anything.
My team is empoleon lv 69, lucario lv 65, torterra lv 67, infernape lv 68, staraptor lv 66, and luxray lv 66. Just mix it up use staraptor and infernape for the first one. Torterra and lucario if nessesary empoleon for the second the third use empoleon. The forth use luxray and for the champion just mix it up and the eleit 4 will be easy.
High leveled pokemon, for example I had an empoleon at level 100 who could beat the entire elite 4 by himself. Another option is to find the type and raise a pokemon to defeat that type. For example the first trainer is bug type so don't use a torterra because it's weak against it. I suggest a fire pokemon such as magmorter. For the ground I suggest a torrterra, for the fire I suggest a golem or faster ground type/water, psychic a misdrevus and for the last a powerful pokemon such as a high lvl dragonite.
You have a lvl. 50 staraptor, staraptor should know Return(if trained from starly at lvl. 2 or up to 10 at least) close combat, areal ace, and fly, lvl 70-80 starter(knows most powerful attacks), lvl. 60 garintina, lvl. 45 psychic pokemon, lvl 55 floatzle(never mind if starter is Empolion) and lvl 70 Machoke
Use the walk through walls cheat on the action replay and walk past all of them, but you will have to beat the Champion Cynthia, but that's it if you use the cheat - it's fun, easy, quick, why not?!?
Guys I'm not sure if I remember right but I think you can beat all of them with a kyogre that knows ice beam, surf, sheer cold, and some other water move but I forgot : /
You guys are all suggesting I have a starting pokemon.... Even though I got rid of it at lvl 1... So whats an effective team not including torttera, infernape, and Empoleon ?
Have high lvl pokemon or get the legendries from mystery gift I don't know how 2 use mystery gift so gud so just search it on urine all I no is that you need 2 talk 2 some guy in jublife city well hope this helps
I've made it too cynthia in pokemon platinum twice with 53 revives and 37 full restores and these are my pokemon and their levels and the moves: A level 62 torterra with Cut, Leaf storm, Giga drain, And Earthquake and he can solo the second two elite four people: A level 58 Magmar with flamethrower,rock climb, lava plume and fire blast and he can solo the first one and some pokemon on the 4th guy: A level 47 floatzel with aqua jet waterfall surf and strength level 44 electabuzz with thunderbolt rock smash thunder punch and discharge a level 48 giratina with ominous wind fly dragon claw and shadow force and my last one is my level 47 magne zone with lock on magnet bomb mirror shot and discharge. And I have the move embargo witch none of my pokemon can learn and I'm tired of repeating it can some one help me?
