Rotom can be found inside the TV in the old Chateau after 8PM
once you complete it, go to Professor Rowan, Oak will appear and give you a National Dex, now you can use the pal park to get pokemon from ruby/saph etc through the GBA slot in the DS.
You can also get to the survival area, stark mountain (to catch Heatran), the Resort area (where you'll get your own villa), and if you go to Canalave city go into the house next to the sailor and talk to the boy and mother, then you will meet cresselia whom you must follow around if you want to catch her.
Oak will also notify you that the legendary birds are flying around Sinnoh.
If you complete everything start breeding pokemon and build yourself a great team to use against players from around the world :3
