What Happens When You Get Your National Pokedex Complete?

I'm not sure ow it works in platinum, but I'm pretty sure it's the same as in diamond/pearl. If you finish the national dex. You may go to Oak in his house. He will give you an "up grade" for evolving a porygon to a porygon2. He will leave his house. If you go to Victory road and go through the right side tunnel, there will be a way you can take to a stone rock. At the stone rock will be professor oak. Talk to him and he will ask who you would like to thank. Say "Pokemon." A new pokemon will pop up and run away. Use your bike to chase after him as it takes a while to get to it. At the end of a flower road will be this pokemon called "shayman." This is the final pokemon in the game.

**Not this is according to pokemon diamond/pearl, different things may happen in platinum**

After you complete tha national pokedex you will have two stars on your trainer card !To end the game you have to have got five stars on your card!To get them you have to

Defeat the Elite Four.

Win any Master Rank Super Contest.

Get all Battle Frontier Colored Plates.

Get a Platinum flag in the Underground by capturing 50 flags

Catch all 493 pokemon on national pokedex!

This is to the guy who didn't see pro.oak next to the rock.you need to get the event item =oak's letter.whan you get it ,it will say to meet him at route 224.thats how you meet shaymin.if you have an action replay I have the code to get you oak's letter.

For diamond and pearl professor Oak doesn't give you the upgrade, you can get that much earlier from him without completing the national dex. He does however congratulates you. Dawn also has a change of dialog but still no items. If you meet the same person that gives you the certificate for completing the Sinnoh dex he will present you another certificate for completing the National dex. You get a star on your trainer card

I think you get to battle professor rowan

You unlock a special stage

When you complete your National Pokedex you go to professor.Rowans house and he will congratulate you.Then professor Oak comes in and tells you about Pal Park.Once you go there,he will tell you about Zapdos,Articuno,and Moltres.Then use the poketech to find them.Be careful!They flee at the first turn.I hope this will help a lot.

Do you have to see or capture all pokemon? I'm confused I have seen all the pokemon but not capture them and I have four stars in my trainer card and I need to get all the pokemon.

Nah   or you can use action replay and get all of them you could use the masterball stuff and like right now I tossed 108 masterballs and than I held [L] and walked into grass and I battled jirachi and I also did that again but this time I tossed an amount fo ho-oh and lugias national dex number and I have ten lugias and ten ho-ohs each level 45 you toss the masterballs until the amount of masterballs match the national dexnumber or just johto dex numer of your chosen   pokemon and hold l and go into grass

To get Shaymin in platinum you need Oaks Letter

You get a certificate in your house and a star on your trainer card

You are know to have all 386 pokemon and it counts as you defeating the elite four and to complete the game and restart and have all pokemon still!

You get all the legendary pokemon, after you have seen all the pokemon. You must go to shaymins place, and on the way too shaymin it is all the legendary pokemon.

The others are stupid you would have those pokemon already to complete the national pokedex and go to foggy island

If anyone needs to complete the national pokedex get an action replay and use the pokemon modifier and you will get any pokemon you want

Nothing happens happens when you complete the National Dex. I spoke to professer Oak and he thanks you and thats it. He doesn't give you anything.

You get to choose between the Kanto starters AFTER you beat RED at MT SILVER, you can't get them any other way apart from trading.

Megaman you can get the griseous orb in platinum too. You go to the spring path and go inside again. You must venture through to the end and it will be there.

Well first he will thank you, then give you a long speech. After that, you recieve the regenol dex or how ever you spell it. And last he will give you a gift that evolves some pokemon. Yah

You get the kanto starters after you get 16 badges and you can get hoenn starters after you give copycat her doll then go to the silph co. Then meet steven stone then go to the museum in viridian I think then go back to silph and he will give you a choise of three stones to pick,blue is mudkip,red is torchic and green is the grass one I forgot wot he was called.

I Found Pal Park BEFORE I completed the nation pokedex

Do you get to go to different regions and do other pokemon gym leaders and pokemon league

Actually here what really happens:
After completing the Sinnoh Dex Go to Prof. Rowan Talk To HimThen Suddenly Oak Will give you the national dex Then He`ll Tell You How To Go To The PAl Park What Is Pal Park Than He Leaves Then Go To THe PalPark Through Sandgem Beach Then Go Inside You`ll See Oak And He Will Give You The Poke Radar (helps finding pokemon duh) then complete the national dex Remember to see Shayman You must See Mespirit While On Thr hunt it will appear the leave then after you catch all go to the victory road the small way where the man is blocking well the man is gone then go through then you will see a man named Marley.Marley will accompany you then use defog to clear it up then go trough battle battle then you`ll see shayman battle it don't worry I hav a cheat for 100% catch rate just( if you download only the game using the R4 Memory Card the just B all the cheats will appear the put a check on 100% Pokemon Catch Rate) otherwise if you don't download it and buy it well GOOD LUCK to you
