You have to have a ps3 xbox360 and a silver psp because it only works like that it doesn't work with the black psp because I work for sony and I would know my names is jake cisco my number is (386)-493-8235.
Do you have to pay for the internet on my psp
or do I connect it somehow to my computer?

There are a number of steps involved in configuring or accessing the internet on your PSP device. You will have to access your PSP settings from the main menu. Then click on network settings and select the infrastructure mode. Create or start to create a new connection. Name this particular connection something that is related to the internet. Proceed to the next menu and let your system pick up the WLAN settings. Let it find the connection and then proceed to the next menu. Choose to install custom settings. In the IP address settings menu leave the option at automatic.
For the DNS setting select manual and enter the primary DNS as 67.171.70.72; leaving the secondary blank. In the Proxy Server Setting select the option that says "do not use". Test the system to see that the connection is working fine. Launch the Wipeout Pure program and go to the main menu's download option, select your connection option and start browsing.

You should not need to "Put Internet On" your PSP.
If you are within range of a wireless internet hot spot (like your home if you have a wireless router hooked up to your internet connection), you should be able to scroll over to 'Network' on the PSP (it's right next to the 'Games' column), then down to the bottom icon 'Internet Browser'. Press X, and the system should start the process of seeking a wireless access point to connect to...
Now. Just like any other wireless device, if the wireless access point is secured, instead of an open one (like at many libraries), you will have to know the security (most often WEP) code to enter to allow the PSP to access the hotspot, and get online. Once you get that put in (or if you ARE at an open internet access point- The PSP can tell you if there's an open access point, just by telling it to scan for available access points when you first try to access the intenet), it should jump straight to the browser.
Hope that helps a little. Good luck!

I think you are making it way more complicated then it needs to be, just go to the top of the psp and switch the wlan to the right. Next go to system settings, then go to network settings, infrastructure mode and then click new connection then scan. If there are any wireless routers around you it will pick it up and give a list of them. Choose the one you would like and see what kind of security it has (None, WEP, WPA-PSK TKIP, WPA-PSK AES). If it has none then click it and go all the way to the right until it says save settings. Save the settings. If there is security then go to the right and you will have to enter an ssid code. If the router is not yours ask whoever it is if you know them and then go to the right and save settings. Then go to your internet Browser and type in the destination and it should work.
You have to go to the internet browser and enter a website address, then it will ask for the internet connection, you press scan and hopefully there is a wireless internet connection in the area. If it has security setting(password) most likely WEP, then you need to know the pass word...but if there is one with out any security settings, it will say none, then you can it you just click on it and press the right arrow key all the way through the settings then you press X to save settings...it will appear on your internet connections list, then you click on it ans the browser and the website that you are looking for should pop up...hope it helps...oh and by the way, your WLAN switch has to be turned on.
Go to the network settings in your psp and then go to infrastructure mode and go to scan and if you have 100% connection it is good
