Where Do U Get A Lucky Egg In Pokemon Platinum?

First go to the pokemon mansion (new) talk to Mr. Blacklot  and he will say the pokemon of the day for he so called trophy garden or go to Solaceon town. Go to the grass on the north or south.
Have a pokemon the knows Thief  (aipom) or a pokemon the knows trick (Mr. Mime jr. Or the evolved form Mr. Mime). Then search in the grass and when a chansey try useing Thief. It might have a Lucky Egg.

PS: Why can't togipii hold a Lucky Egg?

I've read once you get the National Dex you can go to the Pokemon Mansion west of Pastoria (however it's spelled). Then go in the front doors make a right down the hallway and the first door to your avatar's left. Save the game before you enter that door. Talk to the guy right inside he goes on about his garden and then he'll bring up a pokemon he saw in the garden. It's random pokemon he brings up. If he doesn't say Chansey reset and try again until he does. You'll be able to find chansey's there then. They carry lucky eggs sometimes and I know there's some move or item that can be held that enhances the chance that the item will be good they carry. I've tried it for a while, about 7 resets, and haven't got him to say chansey. But you could always try that. Maybe you'll have some luck.

Note: I've read about people able to get one after catching as many as six chanseys and at least one holding it.

Well here is a math way to look at it if it is only 5% chance to get a chancy that has one lucky egg then in theory if you catch 20 chancys then you have 1 lucky egg and if you catch 100 then you have 5 eggs theoretically speaking

Catch a pokemon who knows frisk(stantler or banette) and teach them thief. Go to pokemon mansion after getting national dex and talk to owner. If he says that he saw a chansey in his trophy garden, go to the trophy garden. If not, soft reset(L+R+Start+Reset) until he does. Keep going into battle until you frisk a chansey with a lucky egg and use thief on it.(thief won't work if your pokemon holds an item.)

In solaceon town go downward and use the poke radar a gazillion times or until you find a chansey catch them and they have a 5 percent chance of holding one. You can also use a pokemon that has compound eyes for an ability and do what I just told you then chand to a pokemon that has theif or snatch and you might just get lucky

It is easier find one in trophy garden-they will more likely have a lucky egg-yet the Chansys there are harder to find.

Chansey use pokemon radar near the town with daycare and just catch them and then go check took me 30 chanseys and now I have a box full of them

Well first you NEED a bunch of Pokemon's Like Ralts with ability trace to find a banette with ability frisk and a Nincada with ability compound eyes(increases the chance of finding items)
-Nincada well be your pokemon in the first slot and wen ever you come across a Chansey swap nincada with Banette.

It works for ME

Sometimes wild chansey are holding them

Catch a chansey and take the lucky egg from your caught chansey

Catch some Bannette with the ability of Frisk and catch some Mr. Knowing the move Trick.,

put bannette to the first slot of your party and hunt for Chancey the Bannette will detect if there's a item held to the wild chancey., if your brannette detect the there's lucky on it switch to Mr.mime and use trick, the held item from the wild chancey will be on your Mr. Mime, have fun

NOTE: Don't put item to your Mr.Mime if you use Trick cause the item will be held to wild chanceyxD

I get my lucky egg in a easy way by getting afrisk thengo to the garden and if you find chanseythe frisk pokemon might say that chansey is holding a lucky egg.

You can go to iron island and get one but you have to take a boat in canalave city and you have to help someone in the cave he has a lucario and his name is riley or on sunday morning co to tha haunted house in eterna forest and enter the kitchen I think

What that guy said. Use a pokemon with compound eyes to increase your chances. When you turn off the game change the date on your ds till he says he saw chancy.

There is a person who has a happiny egg in hearthome city. Get it from him and make it hatch. The happiny has a 95% chance of holding a lucky egg

Got to be lucky or use cheats

You must kill the Chansey, and take the egg from it. The dead Chansey can be cooked or thrown into a nearby dump. The egg has a 0.5% of being lucky, and a 99.5% of being rotten, as the Chansey has been holding on to it forever.

(I highly suggest the cooking option for the dead Chansey)
