Before you design web-pages or when you require to update your web-page, you most probably would love to have "This site is under construction" displayed on your domain name. To be able to do that is very simple.

First of all design a HTML (Hyper Text Mark up Language-the programming language that lets you design web-pages) page displaying your message "This site is under construction". If you are unable to do programming in HTML then you can take the help of software's such as Microsoft Front Page, Macro-media's dream weaver and other several software's that enables users to make HTML pages without writing the code.

Once you have designed the page, save it as "index.html". "Index" is usually the first page that is retrieved once your domain name is typed. If "Index" is not the first page then save the HTML file as it is stated by your network administrator.

Once that is done, upload your HTML file to the server from where your website can be retrieved. You are done! You can type in your URL and the message will be displayed as you like it.
