How Do You Delete A Webshots Account?

If you have a Premium Membership with Webshots, you can cancel it by logging into your account and clicking ‘Cancel My Membership’. Your cancellation will take effect at the end of the monthly or yearly term (depending on the billing cycle you chose) in which you cancelled. Please be advised that your photo storage capacity will go back to the capacity of a free Webshots account, 1,000 photos. Photos above that limit will be placed on hold and will be inaccessible. You will need to organise your photos on Webshots before your membership expires and ensure you have them backed up in a different place. Your Webshots member name and password will remain the same so that you may continue to use the free service.
Webshots provide a free membership and you cannot ‘unsubscribe’ once you have already signed up. What you can do is remove webshots from your computer, remove any photos and personal information on your account and unsubscribe from the mailing list so you will effectively no longer have any contact with Webshots. Delete your photos by going to the My shots tab. Click an album title then choose the Delete Album link. Repeat for each album you’ve created.

To unsubscribe from Webshots Weekly, click the My Account link in the upper right hand corner (If you cannot find My Account, you’ll need to sign in by clicking on the sign in link.). Uncheck the box next to Send me ‘Webshots Weekly’ emails. Personal information may also be modified.

To sign out of Webshots, click on the sign out link at the top of the page.

A Webshots account cannot be deleted completely. The Webshots does not delete names of its members once people sign up for an account on Webshots. One can delete or remove the Webshots installation from their personal computers. Thus, to uninstall Webshots one should follow the following four steps. First, click start on the lower bar of your computer and go to settings enter the Control Panel. In the Control Panel, double click on the Add or Remove Programs. Now, select the Webshots Desktop and click the Change or Remove tab.

One can stop using the account on Webshots by unsubscribing form Webshots weekly. Sign in the Webshots and click My Account link at the right hand corner on the upper side of the page. Now, un check the box for Send Me Webshots Weekly emails. One can delete the album in his account if he has uploaded any.
