I am member of singles organization in town. Treasurer paid check to member for $45 for print cartridges for his printer. I use my printer for the group also. I think I should get my cartridges paid for also. What do you think?

Does the other member have a printer dedicated to printing only output used for the organization?

Do you?

What do the by-laws say?

You have a right to understand how the decision to pay that member for his cartridges is made.

Attend a meeting and ask about the situation.

The other members printer is not dedicated to only our org. printing. Neither is mine. I believe the Treasurer tried to low key the payment to him. It is not in the by laws, I don't think. Thanks for your response, it helps.

I'm a Secretary-Treasurer for a small non-profit.

For us, that would be only be authorized by a motion made, seconded, and passed at a meeting unless the by-laws specifically addressed it..
