Info on Instagram followers in alphabetical order?

This is a question that I found myself asking a while ago, and after a bit of research, I finally managed to find some information about Instagram followers in alphabetical order.

To summarise; if you currently have less than 200 followers on Instagram, they will be listed in alphabetical order.  If you have more than 200 followers, they'll be listed by "most recent".

I'm not sure why this is the case, but that's the mystery surrounding Instagram followers being listed in alphabetical order.

If you're new to Instagram, and aren't sure how to check your followers, follow these steps to see whether they're in alphabetical order or not:

1. Go to the Instagram app.
2. Tap the profile tab (bottom right on iPhone).
3. Tap followers (near the top on iPhone).

As you'll see; less than 200 followers - alphabetical, more than 200 followers - most recent.

how about the order of followers of other people? Are they in order of joined or is the order activity related
