If your phone is an android type smartphone, then you have a Google accountt. There is a program in Google called android device manager, you should be able to locate it through that program. I think it also lets you erase and lock the phone too! I don't know about Iphone stuff, but you can also try contacting whichever antivirus program you may have had on the phone as well!
