I had a problem with Instagram videos, luckily I was able to fix the problem pretty easily. Here's how:

Fixing Instagram videos if they won't play

Task 1: Make sure you are running the latest operating system on your phone. If you are on Android (and there are known issues with Android support on Instagram) then please make sure you are running 4.4 KitKat.

If you have an iPhone, then iOS7 or above is preferred (the latest version is always better - as it will contain more bug fixes).

Task 2: Check that your Instagram app is actually up to date. Even if it is, sometimes it is worth deleting and reinstalling Instagram all together.

Don't ask me why that works, but it fixed my problem with the Instagram app, so I think it might be helpful for you too...

Delete your app data. After that, the video will play as normal. You will have to login again. I have to do this after every video upload. Newest version of Instagram app as of 31 sept 2014.

This has happened to me many times. It's one of four reasons:

1. Your connection to your cell tower or wifi router is poor and it cannot load the data in order to play the video.

2. The person who uploaded the video deleted it before you were able to view it.

3. It's one of those prank photos that pretends to be a video and you spend a good five minutes trying to get it to play.

4. Make sure you are running the latest 4.4 KitKat operating system on your phone.

Hello, I've got a question for you. Did any one of you use instagram bot? It looks very promising telling by the look of their site. What is your opinion about it? Do you still use it? I simply take pictures of my cats and post them, but also collaborate with animal shelters. I know very little about marketing but still would like to build good profile. Your help would be highly appreciated :D .

Did you update your instagram? If so, you'll see a video icon on the top right, to play the video you tap it and it will play.

If you have android cell then android hasn't updated Instagram to the point where you can make/watch videos yet. For now, it's only an apple-user feature. I'm sure it'll get updated soon though.
